BUDGAM, JULY 07: The District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Budgam today launched a special enrolment drive for the voters in the age group 18-21 years and left out voters in the district.
Electoral Registration Officers/Assistant Electoral Registration Officers including representatives of all registered/recognized Political Parties, NGOs, and Volunteers were present on the occasion.
The meeting was also attended by the Principals of Degree Colleges, Chief Education officer (Nodal officer SVEEP) and other concerned.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Election Officer said that drive will continue till July 31, 2017 under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) as per the guidelines of Election Commission of India.
In this regard for the benefit of left out and yet to be registered voters Electoral Roll 2017 will be available at District headquarter and EROs/AEROs level, Booth Level Officer (BLO) and also at official website of the CEO J&K (www.ceojk.nic.in) for further information of general public of the district.

It was said that those who have attained the age of 18 years or above on 01-01-2017 can get their names enrolled by filling form 6 (Inclusion form) with two passport size colored photographs with date of birth and address proof.
