SRINAGAR, JULY 17: Minister of State for Hajj and Auqaf, PHE, Irrigation & Flood
Control, Power, Industries and Commerce, Farooq Ahmad Andrabi along with Mufti
Azam Maharashtra, Mufti Mujeeb Ashraf today visited Dargah Sharief Hazratbal,
Ziyarat Sharief Makhdoom Sahab (RA), Ziyarat Sharief Syed Yaqoob
Sahab (RA) Sonawar and paid obeisance there.
The Minister appraised the Mufti Azam Maharashtra about the religious
and spiritual places of the State and briefed him about the importance and
historic background of these shrines.
The Management of these shrines briefed the Minister and Mufti Azam
Maharashtra about various ongoing works aimed at improving the facilities for
devotees, who throng these shines in large numbers from all parts of the State.
Special prayers were held at these shrines on the occasion and the
Minister and the Mufti Mujeeb Ashraf prayed for peace, prosperity and
development of the State.
