Awareness programme on GST held at Baramulla

           BARAMULLA, JULY 22: A day long awareness programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was today organized at Baramulla wherein a large number of traders, industrialists, contractors and other entrepreneurs participated. 

The programme was organized by Commercial Tax Department circle Baramulla and included number of experts. The speakers deliberated on the new tax regime and highlighted various aspects of the GST. They stressed upon the traders and other concerned to opt for the scheme so as to yield the benefits. Moreover, emphasis was laid on creating awareness among the masses so that every misconception about the law is eliminated.

               Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Assistant Commissioner Commercial Tax, Tehsildar HQ Baramulla, CTO, and various other concerned were present on the occasion.
