SAMBA, JULY 22: The progress of ongoing voter
enrolment drive was reviewed here today at a meeting chaired by Additional
District Development Commissioner Samba Vivek Sharma.
The meeting was attended by (ERO Samba) Waseem Raja Khan, SDM Vijaypur
(ERO) Ravinder Sharma, AERO’s ,CEO , CMO , PO ICDS , Principals
of Govt Higher Secondary Schools, Govt Degree College, ITI and Polytechnic
Samba.
The ADDC thoroughly reviewed ongoing drive and preparedness for
interactive school engagement programme.
The meeting emphasised on the need to collectively utilise the services
of BLOs, ASHA workers, AWW and students to disseminate the information
regarding the ongoing campaign for ennoblement of all
eligible left out voters.
On the occasion, Form VI was provided to the principals for further
distribution across Samba District. Besides, lists of Persons With
Disabilities(PWD) were distributed among the AERO’s to
ensure that no such person is left out. The ADDC directed CEO Samba to involve
principals of Private Higher Secondary Schools too in this exercise. He sought cooperation from all stakeholders for successful process.
