Chennai, July 22 : In a musical tribute to late people's President A P J Abdul Kalam, a video album was launched to mark his death anniversary that falls on July 27. 'KALAAM SALAAM', a video song tribute to the late President was launched here last evening. The album was launched by 'Father of green revolution and MSSRF Founder Prof M S Swaminathan in the presence of lyricist Vairamuthu, who had penned the lyrics. The video album was directed by Vasanth S Sai. Among those present were environmentalist Abdul Ghani and Gibran, the music composer of the album. Sung by Sid Sriram and cinematographed by Ekambaram and Bala, the song recalled the fond memories of the "People's President". The song was played for the audience who attended the event and received amazing response and standing ovation. The celebrities attended the event recalled their memories and experiences with the great man Abdul Kalam. UNI
