GANDERBAL, JULY 01: Vice Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation, Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, today visited Ganderbal to inspect pace of various ongoing developmental works under the Corporation.

During his visit, the VC JKPCC inspected the work on district hospital which was executed after a gap of four years. He directed the concerned to work with added zeal so that work on the hospital is completed at the earliest. He also called upon the concerned to ensure that quality of work is not compromised with. He also assured the contractors that their work payment will be released on time.

He was informed that work is going on in full swing and the main emergency block of the hospital will be completed by August 2017.

On the occasion, the VC said that Ganderbal district is high on the priority of the Government and Chief Minister is taking keen interest in the overall development of the district.

Later, Jehangir visited Manigam base camp of the ongoing annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra and interacted with yatries there to enquire about the facilities being provided to them.
