SRINAGAR, JULY 24: Sri Pratap College, Srinagar today conducted an annual road race for girls from Oberai to Botanical Garden here today.
The run was flagged off at 6:15 am by the
College Principal Prof. (Dr) Parveen Pandit and around 30 athletes of the
College participated in the event.
The participants fought it out for the top positions during the road
race as trophies, track suits and jogger shoes were given to first three
position holders. Medals were awarded to rest of the participants by the
Principal and the College Sports Board members.
At the concluding ceremony, Prof. (Dr) Parveen Pandit complimented the
participants and impressed upon the girl students to actively take part in the
sports activities. She also assured full support to the Sports Board for
organizing intra and inter College sports events.
