SHOPIAN, AUGUST 17: A valedictory function was organized at Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Shopian in which District Development Commissioner Shopian Mohammad Aijaz was the chief guest.
          Director RSETI Shopian, Cluster Head, Assistant Director RSETI and other concerned officers were also present.
          Director RSETI informed that 30 young women entrepreneurs have been trained in the current batch and have successfully completed their course.
          Since its inception, 121 candidates have been trained in various trades and skills, out of whom 30 candidates availed, credit facility under different schemes from banks. He further said that RSETI has conducted 5 training programmes last fiscal during which 121 candidates were imparted training in various skills. Out of 121 candidates, 30 candidates were provided with credit linkage facility to open their income generating units. As many as 5 Training Programme were organized by the RSETI, so far, in the district. 

          Later, DDC distributed certificates to 30 young women who successfully completed training. DDC exhorted them to become job creators rather than job seekers. He said entrepreneurship holds key to development of the district and assured them that Government is always available for them with the financial assistance under various schemes for launching any start up.
