BHADERWAH, AUGUST 11: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah, Mohammad Hanief Malik today convened a meeting to review the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.
During the meeting, it was informed that the main function will be organized at Government Boys Higher Secondary School where VIP will host the tricolor and take salute at the march Past by contingents of JKAP, NCC and students from various schools. Later a colorful cultural programme will be presented by the school children on the occasion.
Various other arrangements including security, installation of Public Address System, medicare, power and drinking water supply, sanitation, seating arrangements were discussed and finalised in the meeting.
ADC directed the information department to start the day with playing of shehnai wadan early in the morning. It was also decided that the full dress rehearsals shall be held on 13th of August at 10am.
ASP, Tehsildar, SDPO, Principals of Government schools besides other Tehsil officers and officials attended the meeting.
