Aug 30: Bollywood technician Shah Alam died after being electrocuted
during shooting of Anushka Sharma and Parambrata Chatterjee starters movie
-Pari- in an outdoor location of South 24 Parganas, police investigating the
death said today.
Preliminary reports said twenty-eight-year Bollywood technician, a resident of
UP, while packing up accidentally touched live wire in a bamboo bush at
Korolberia in South 24 Parganas yesterday.
The outdoor shooting location was around the bamboo bus heroine hes where lights were fitted to illuminate the objects and main characters.
Leather complex police station said the shooting was being held for some days at the location, which was now abandoned after the mishap.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, which declared him dead.
The body was taken to local morgue for autopsy.
The technician was hired from Mumbai for the shooting by the movie makers. UNI
