PULWAMA, AUGUST 22: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, today visited Dallipora where 7 houses and few shops were gutted this morning in a fire incident.

The Deputy Commissioner while taking stock of the extensive damage caused by the devastating fire in the area announced relief and rehabilitation measures for the welfare of the affected.

He also assured the affected families of all possible support from the district administration. On the occasion, Rs 20,000 per family out of Red Cross, tents, kitchen sets, ration kits and quilts were provided as immediate relief to the affected families. It was also stated that one month ration will be given free of cost to each affected family.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed grief over the incident and said that the whole administration stands with the victims and every possible measure will be taken to rehabilitate the affected families at the earliest.

ADC Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Pulwama (ACR), Tehsildar Pulwama and other officers of the district administration accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
