KISHTWAR, AUGUST 23: To reduce the stress in prison life of inmates and staff by providing entertainment through Music and singing, District Information Centre, today organized a scintillating cultural programme in the premises of district jail Kishtwar where renowned local singer Nissar Ahmed Doolwal, Bhuran Ahmed and Touseef of Kishtwar recited songs in Kashmiri and Urdu language.
Students of Govt UPS Poochal and inmates of Jail also exhibited their skills in dance and singing.
Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent Jail Kishtwar said such programmes are important for developing reformative atmosphere in Jail. He also appreciated the efforts of Information Department in this regard and requested for organizing similar programmes in future also. He said such programmes not only provide entertaining atmosphere to the inmates but also provide them some moment of enjoyment and to leave soothing effect on their minds.
