MAKKAH, AUGUST 29: Minister
of State for Hajj & Auqaf Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today chaired a meeting
where he sought detailed information regarding the facilities provided to State’s Hajjis
at Makkah. The Minister sought information from Khuddams and members of State
Hajj Committee who are presently accompanying the Hajjis on their religious
pilgrimage.
The Executive Officer apprised the Minister with the facilities provided
to the Hajjis, and informed him with the facilities provided by Hajj Committee
of India. The meeting expressed satisfaction over the availability of boarding,
lodging and transportation facilities provided to Hajjis in Mecca.
The Minister was also informed that while five Hajjis died during
ongoing pilgrimage, the three were hospitalized due to ill health and are
presently recovering and would soon be discharged.
He further advised Khuddams to discharge their duties with utmost
dedication so that the Hajjis would not face any kind of trouble while
performing their Hajj rituals.
