Srinagar, Aug 19 :  Jammu and Kashmir police has sought help in identifying two thieves involved in a theft case of looting gold worth Rs 11 lakhs in the uptown, a police spokesman said here this evening.
      He said on August 16, Police Post Chanpora received a complaint from one Irshad Ahmad Bhat a resident of Usmaniya Colony Bagh-i-Mehtab that in the afternoon some persons barged into his house and looted gold ornaments worth about 11 lakhs.
        On this information a case FIR Number 145/2017 under section 454, 380 RPC was registered in Police Station Sadder, Srinagar and investigation was taken up.
        During the course of investigation and after analysing the CCTV footage the pictures of the culprits involved in the incident surfaced.
      Police has sought help from the public to identify the culprits, he said.UNI
