Rahul meets head of NBIM Yngve Slyngstad in Norway

New Dehi, Aug 30: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, who is on a visit to Norway, has met Yngve Slyngstad, head of NBIM, world's largest sovereign wealth fund there. Taking to social netyworking site Twitter, Rahul said,'Met Yngve Slyngstad, head of NBIM, world's largest sovereign wealth fund and custodian of Norway's oil wealth, a role model for growing economies.' He also posted on his twitter handle a photograph of his meeting the NBIM head. Rahul had last week left on a visit to Norway at the invitation of the Norwegian Ministry for foreign affairs. “On the invitation of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be travelling to Oslo for a few days. Looking forward to meeting and exchanging ideas with political and business leaders & research institutions,” Rahul had tweeted on August 25. This is is second foreign visit in the last three months. In June, he had left for Italy to meet hisw maternal grandmother. UNI
