Chowdhary Zulfkar joins Jinaza prayers of Shah Bibi; CM's Secretariat,
DIPR condole demise
SRINAGAR, AUGUST 8: Hajan Shah Bibi, mother of Mr M H Malik,
Secretary to Chief Minister, Administrative Secretary, Information, Tourism
& Horticulture Departments, passed away at Jammu last evening. Minister for
Information, FCS&CA, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali was among the hundreds of people
from different walks of life who joined her Jinaza prayers today.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was convened at Civil Secretariat here
today under the chairmanship of Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Bashir
Ahmed Dar. The officers and officials of the CM Secretariat, Tourism,
Information and Horticulture Departments participated in the meeting.
The participants conveyed their sympathies with the bereaved family and
prayed for peace to the departed soul. A two-minute silence was also
observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
A condolence meeting was also convened at the Directorate of Information
& Public Relations (DIPR) here today which was presided over by Director
Information, Muneer-ul-Islam. The meeting condoled the demise of Shah Bibi and
prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
The meeting
expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, especially Mr M H Malik.
The meeting also expressed condolences over the demise of Om Prakash of
Rajbagh, Kathua, the elder brother of Mr Kuldeep Kumar, Accounts Officer
Directorate of Information.
