Islamabad, Aug 18: Disqualified Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his two sons, summoned by National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Lahore office today for interrogation in connection with money laundering and corruption cases, will not join the investigation. Mr Sharif and his two sons will not appear before the NAB Lahore office to join investigation into the Al-Azizia Steel Mills case as they have not received any summons, nation's daily Dawn quoted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) sources as saying. After consulting his close aides and legal team, the former premier has decided not to join the investigations till the Supreme Court comes out with a ruling on his review petition against its July 28 verdict to disqualify him from office. Neither Mr Sharif nor his sons would appear before the anti-corruption body in Lahore today, ruling PML-N Senator Asif Kirmani, said in a statement issued here late last night. They had not received any summons, he added. Mr Sharif had filed three petitions in the Supreme Court earlier this week, to review and stay further implementation of the Panama Papers case verdict which had resulted in his disqualification. UNI
