Singapore, Aug 18: South Korean President Moon Jae-in has said that the US would seek his country's approval before pursuing any action against nuclear-armed North Korea.
Addressing a press conference yesterday, Mr Moon said that he wanted to assure the citizens of the country that there will be no war in Korean peninsula.
"Mr Trump has already promised to consult with South Korea and get our approval for whatever option they will take against North Korea," Mr Moon Jae-in said.
The US President has advocated for solving the dispute amicably through dialogue.
