Srinagar, Sep 13: Life returned to normal after remaining crippled for two days in parts of south Kashmir district of Kulgam, where two Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces. 
      Shops and business establishments reopened and traffic was plying on all routes normally.  Work in government offices, banks and educational institutions was also normal. However, security forces and state police personnel remained deployed to prevent any law and order problem.
       Two HM militants, Sayar Ahmad Wani and Dawood Illahi Khan, were killed in an encounter with security forces, while an Over Ground Worker (OGW), Arif Sofi, was captured at Khudwani in Kulgam in the wee hours on September 12. UNI
