Rajouri district to have helicopter service from Sep 11

 Jammu, Sep 7: In a bid to provide better connectivity to the mountainous belts, helicopter service is going to start for district Rajouri from September 11.

   ‘’The helicopter service has been introduced for Rajouri district,’’ Dr Shahid Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri here told UNI.
He said the trial run will be conducted tomorrow, adding that, ‘’the service will be launched formally from September 11 and it will be operated for both sides.’’
   ‘’Initially the helicopter service will be run on two days (Monday, Saturday) but depending upon the response, further decision will be taken,’’ he said.
   He added that Rs 2,000 has been fixed as one side fare for the passengers and advance booking for the first flight will begin from September 9.
