Urs arrangements finalized for 9th and 10th September at Kashira (Zangli)

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 6: The 2-days annual Urs at Dargah Aminiya Owaisiya Kashira is being celebrated from September 09 to September 10, organizers said on Wednesday.

Officials said on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara Khalid Jahangir, sufficient arrangements have been put in place. In this regard, ACR Kupwara reviewed the arrangements put in place by different service providing departments. Some urgent decisions were taken in the meeting regarding Security, Drinking water, Electricity, Sanitation, fire renderer, essential commodities, medical facilities, deployment of duty Magistrates and road facilities for smooth celebration of the Urs at Kashira shrine.

The concerned departments were asked to make elaborate arrangements assigned to them for smooth celebration of the Urs days at Shrine place. ACR directed the officials to ensure un-interrupted drinking water facilities through tankers and water tankies, power supply besides Gen-set be installed during the Urs days, repairs and restoration of all road links leads to Kasheerah Shrine place, arranging of one fire tendered, supply of 20 qtls of rice and 5 qtls of sugar by the Food and Civil Supplies to the consumers of the area, arranging of medical staff and ambulance during the Urs days for Medicare facilities, sanitation measures in and around the shrine place at Kasheerah by the MCK, besides the Tehsildhar Kupwara will monitor the overall arrangements put in place for smooth celebration of annual Urs at Kashiera, Kupwara. The concerned officers were asked to keep close liaison with the Shrine administration of Kasheerah.
