Sep 1: Commercial Vechile Major, Ashok Leyland today reported a rise of
25.11 percent in its total sales at 13,634 units for August 2017 as compaed to
10,897 units soldin the same month last year. Sales of medium and heavy
commercial vehicles grew by 28.85 per cent to 10,567 units as against 8,201 in
the year-ago month, the company statement said Light commercial vehicle sales
rose 13.76 per cent to 3,067 units compared to 2,696 in August last year, it
