Delhi, Sept 19: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a
case against former official of North Eastern Railways (NER) for allegedly
amassing huge wealth. The probe agency has booked Alok Kumar Singh, former
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of NER, Varanasi under various provisions
of Prevention of Corruption Act. In the FIR, registered yesterday, the CBI
alleged that Singh had acquired huge wealth in his name and family members
during the period from January 1, 2008 to February 8, 2017 which were
disproportionate to his known sources of income. UNI
