Sept 28: Puducherry traffic police today warned of stringent action if
people were found breaking pumpkin on the road after ‘Ayudha Pooja’ tomorrow.
According to a police release, people break pumpkin on the road after Ayudha
pooja. Since, it causes obstruction to traffic and can lead to road accidents,
endangering lives, public is advised to refrain from breaking pumpkin on the
