Naypyidaw,
Myanmar, Sept 6: India and Myanmar today signed a number of agreements for
mutual cooperation. The agreements were signed by officials and diplomats from
both sides in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Myanmar Councillor
Aung San Suu Kyi. The pacts will further cement India-Myanmar relations,
officials said. "We would like to contribute to Myanmar's development
efforts as part of our 'Sabka saath sabka vikaas' initiative," Prime
Minister Modi said. He further said, deepening relationship with Myanmar is a
"priority for India", as a neighbour and also in the context of 'Act
East Policy'. UNI
