SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18: Minister
of State for Hajj and Auqaf Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today paid glowing
tributes to 2nd Caliph Hazrat Umar (RA) on the eve of
his martyrdom anniversary.
The martyrdom of Hazrat Umar (RA) is to be observed on Tuesday. Special
prayer meetings shall be organized at Ziyarats of Hazratbal, Jenab Sahib Soura,
Asar Sharief Shahri Kailaspora, Kabamarg Anantnag, Asar Shareif Pethi Muqaam
Beerwah and Aham Sharief Bandipora.
Meanwhile, Andrabi directed the concerned departments to ensure
arrangements at all these shrines where a large number of devotees are expected
to pay their obeisance.
