MLA Khansahib takes stock of Muharram arrangements

BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 15:  MLA, Khansahib, Hakim Mohammad Yaseen today asked the District Administration Budgam to make adequate arrangements in various areas of the district especially In Khansahib constituency in connection with Muhurram.

          Speaking at a meeting of the officers of district Budgam held to take stock of the arrangements for ensuing religious festival Muharram, Hakim Yaseen urged them to provide uninterrupted power and water supply during the Muharam days while emphasizing that all the roads, link roads, lanes and lanes leading to Imambaras should be kept neat and clean so that devotees do not face any kind of difficulty.

          He especially asked the concerned Municipal committees to keep adequate sanitation in and around the surroundings of various Imambaras in the district.

          Hakim Yaseen asked the Chief Medical Officer Budgam to set up special medical aid camps around Imambaras to meet any exigency. He has asked the concerned district officers of the food supplies and Forest department to provide adequate ration and fire wood to the people particularly in Shia dominated areas.

          Hakeem Yaseen asked the District Development Commissioner to set up mini-Control Rooms comprising concerned district officers to coordinate various activities related to the observance of Muharam.
