DODA, SEPTEMBER 19:
Government Degree College, Doda today organized a rally on the theme “Swachhata
Hi Seva Hai” under the supervision of Principal GDC, Dr. Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi.
All the
students of the college and faculty took part in the rally. The NCC students of
senior division army and naval wing along with other students also organized a
cleanliness drive in and around the college campus.
Later, a rally of the students
marched through the streets of the town carrying placards and banners regarding
the theme. The students resorted to catchy phrases and sloganeering to
sensitize the people to develop responsibility for cleanliness and Clean India
campaign. They pledged to keep the surroundings clean and to preserve the
environment.
After a
long march through the town, the rally culminated at the college where the
Principal appreciated the role of students, faculty and NCC officers Prof. Babu
Ram and Prof Ajay Kumar for making the event a grand success.
