ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 07: The
Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik today chaired a meeting at
meeting hall, DC Office to review the arrangements for Muharram celebration in
Shia-inhabited areas especially Chatergul, Halkha, Dooru, Bungund, Sofipora-Pahalgam
and Shangus.
The concerned officers were directed to ensure that all requisite
arrangements are made well in advance.
He directed the AD FCS&CA, DFO, Exen PDD/PHE to ensure the provision
of adequate rations, timber for Imambaras, uninterupted power supply and
potable drinking water in these areas.
Meanwhile, he directed CMO to ensure the availability of life-saving
drugs and installation of medical camps around Imambaras, besides, keeping the
availability of ambulances.
