Comm Secy M H Malik accorded warm farewell

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27 – Commissioner Secretary Tourism, Information and Floriculture Departments, Mohammad Hussain Malik was accorded a warm farewell by senior officers of Tourism, Information and Floriculture Departments  at a felicitation function organized at Media Complex, here today.

Director Information Muneer-ul-Islam, Director Tourism Kashmir Mehmood A Shah, Director Floriculture Kashmir M. Hussain Mir, MD JKTDC Sarmad Hafeez, MD Cable Car Shamim Ahmad Wani and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

The speakers appreciated the dedication and commitment of Commissioner Secretary Mohammad Hussain Malik towards his duties. They highlighted the rich contribution of M H Malik in different Departments and wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.

All the heads of the Departments present spoke on the occasion and shared their experiences working under the outgoing Commissioner Secretary.

Pertinently, the Government had promoted Mohammad Hussain Malik, a KAS cadre officer to the rank of Commissioner Secretary, CM Secretariat with additional charge of Tourism, Information and Floriculture Departments. M H Malik is retiring on September 30.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Secretary M H Malik thanked the officers and staff for the honour and affection they have accorded. He also thanked everyone present for their cooperation during his service. 

The three Departments also presented mementos to Mr Malik as a token of respect and affection for the officer known for his integrity and dedication to work.
