BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 27: District
Developments Commissioner, Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today visited
various areas of Pattan and inspected Muharram arrangements.
District Development Commissioner stressed on the special arrangements
for Electricity, water supply, health , sanitation ,cleanliness and other
essential facilities at Ahmadpora, Hanjiwara ,Chinabal,Mirgund Pattan and other areas.
The DDC accompanied by Joint Director Planning, SDM Pattan,
CMO and District Officers of various departments
It is worth mention here that the DDC had already instructed various
departments to make sure every facility is made available for the shia
community areas during the Muharram. Moreover various teams were
formed to inspect the arrangements.
During the visit the DDC impressed upon the officers to provide
every facility to the people of the Shia dominated areas of the district during
the Muharram days.
DDC also directed health department to set up first aid centers and
provide medical facilities to the people during the Muharram days.
