UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 27: To educate the common masses about the importance of cleanliness and to provide platform to the young talent, a wall painting competition was held  here today under the ongoing 'Swachhta hi Sewa' campaign.
A large number of students drawn from various educational institutions participated in the painting competition and painted their thoughts on the compound wall of DC Complex.  Through their art, the students spread the message of cleanliness among the visitors.
District Development Commissioner Ravinder Kumar also visited to site of painting competition and appreciated the students for participating in this noble cause.
The participating students were from Government Degree College for Women, Government PG Degree College, Boys, ITI college, Shivalik College of Education, NITL Higher Secondary School and Happy Model School.

Pertinently, the winners of various competitions organized under fortnightly 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' Campaign would be felicitated on the concluding day of the campaign, October 2.
