KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 15: District Development Commissioner
(DDC), Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir, today flagged off Swachta Mission at FCI
Kupwara.
Students of
various government and private schools led by DDC assembled at Town hall.
On the
occasion, DDC Kupwara exhorted upon students to sensitise their neighbours on
keeping their surroundings neat and clean. He along with SSP Kupwara went to
the Shopkeepers and urged them to stop use of polythene.
Stressing
that everyone must take part in Swach Bharat Mission, the DDC
highlighted the importance of sanitation and its positive consequences and
asked officers to coordinate.
