Jammu , September 14: BJP State Spokesperson Prof. Virender
Gupta while reacting to the statement of Congress National General Secretary,
Ghulam Nabi Azad issued in Lucknow that war like situation on ideology has
emerged in the country, blamed the Congress party for following divisive
politics and for supporting the anti-national forces and activities under the
pretext of secularism and tolerance. He said that Azad is indulging in a futile
exercise to revive the Congress party which has been rejected by the masses
because of its nepotism, corruption, anti-people policies, slow pace of
development activities and unemployment, by raising the bogy of ideology war
with BJP. “The fact of the matter is Congress party has no ideology, it has
always followed the policy of convenience,
supporting divisive forces and anti-national activities, even if it has
to sacrifice the national interests, for the sake of vote bank politics,” the
spokesperson stated.
Prof. Virender said that it is not
ideology fight with BJP, but it is a match between “Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikaas”
versus discriminatory and appeasement policy; between dynamism and sluggishness
or status co; between dedication and opportunism, between honesty and scams
(corruption), between bright future vision for country and aimless or hapless
future and between forward looking and backward looking. He further added that
the present government policies are people oriented and for the benefit of
poor, backward and down trodden classes of societies, the policies are also
youth oriented with a purpose to provide facilities taking initiatives to
become self dependent, create job opportunities. He pointed that efforts of
Modi are to bring the country at par with other developed and progressive
nations.
The Spokesperson said that attempt of
the education policy of the present government is to remove distortions in the
history of the country which has been brought into by the historian who were
either influenced by Marxism or by the Western writers, the attempt of these
historians was to ridicule the Indian culture, put the actual Indian heroes in
bad shape and tarnish their sacrifices. He added that history of National
heroes does not stop at Moti Lal Nehru or Jawahar Lal Nehru. There were plenty
of others who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle and worked
throughout their lives to protect and contribute towards the national culture
and its rich heritage.
