Sept 20: A pedestrian was arrested with contraband of opium in city
outskirts here. ‘’A pedestrian was intercepted last evening near Bahu Fort in
Trikuta Nagar area during routine checking,’’ police here today said. They said
that during his search, 3 Kgs of ganja (opium) was recovered. He was arrested
on the spot, while a case under NDPS Act has been registered and investigation
started, police added. UNI
