Sensex down by 307 pts

Mumbai, Sep 22: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) crashed today by 307 points to 32,062.333 as selling pressure was seen across the board. The Nifty too eased by 116.15 points to 10,005.75. The BSE registered intra day high and low at 32,342.81 and 32,058.81 respectively. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) recorded day intra day and low at 10,095.05 and 10,000.25 respectively. Sectoral indices like Basic Materials, Capital Goods, Energy, FMCG and Health Care kept the market under pressure in early trade. In scrips, Hero MotoCorp, Infosys, Tata Steel and Coal India slumped. The losers were Hero MotoCorp by 1.94 pc to Rs 278.95, Infosys by 1.94 pc to Rs 3813.45, Tata Steel by 1.94 pc to Rs 673.50 and Coal India by 1.77 pc to Rs 249.10. The gainers were Tata Motors by 1.49 pc to Rs 419.45, Cipla by 0.80 pc to Rs 596.20, Sun Pharma by 0.73 pc to Rs 523.35 and Tata Motors DVR by 0.71 pc to Rs 234.90. UNI
