Sep 18: All the 18 rebel AIADMK MLAs, owing allegiance to ousted leader T
T V Dhinakaran, were today disqualified by Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker P
Dhanapal for withdrawing their support to Chief Minister Edappadi K
Palaniswami. A release issued by Legislative Assembly Secretary K Boopathy here
said as per the 1986 Anti-defection rules created under the Tenth Schedule of
the Constitution, all the 18 rebel MLAs were disqualified under the
Anti-defection law. UNI
