Sept 5: An eleven –members team of Tripura BJP core committee reached New
Delhi to hold meeting with BJP national president Amit Shah this afternoon to
review the poll strategy persuaded for upcoming election in the state barely
after four months. According to report, BJP state president Biplab Kumar Deb,
vice-presidents Rampada Jamatia, Subal Bhowmik and Ramprasad Paul, General
Secretaries Tapas Bhattacharjee and Pratima Bhowmik, Janajati Morcha state observer
Jishnu Dev Barman along lead by party’s central observer Sunil Deodhar reached
New Delhi last night. However, newly joined MLAs and members of BJP state core
committee Diba Chandra Hrangkhwal and Sudip Roy Barman have also left for Delhi
this morning to attend the meeting. The meeting is assumed to be significant,
as BJP got a boost after merger of all front liners of Trinamool Congress last
months. After review the state situation, Mr Shah is scheduled to hold meeting
with the Convenor of Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA) and Finance Minister
of Assam Hemanta Biswa Sarma and top BJP leaders of the region to discuss the
winning strategy for the upcoming Tripura and Meghalaya assembly elections. UNI
