Youth dragged to police station tied in a chain with a bike for misbehaving woman, Two held

Puri, Sep 1: The Brahmagiri police have arrested a man who tied a youth with iron chain to his motorcycle and dragged him nearly two km in full public view to the police station yesterday for misbehaving and passing lewd comments over mobile phone to his sister-in-law. The police also arrested Ramesh Bhoi, the youth who was dragged to the police station for misbehaving with married woman. According to reports a youth was frequently calling in mobile phone of the woman and passing lewd comments. The matter was reported to the police. The woman also informed the incident to one of his relatives who asked the woman to call the youth to a particular place. When the youth arrived at the place yesterday, the woman nabbed him and handed over him to his relative Chinmay Baral who tied the youth in a chain to the back of his bike and dragged him to the police station. Police arrested Ramesh Bhoi and also Chinmaya baral, the relatives of the lady after the wife of Bhoi lodged a complaint with the police station for assaulting her husband. UNI
