A woman commit suicide, another made attempt to end life in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 2: A woman committed suicide while another made similar attempt to take extreme step in the Kashmir valley, a police spokesman said here this evening.
      He said a woman, who was not identified, consumed some poisonous substance in her Dachna house in Baramulla. However, she was immediately rushed to local Public Health Centre (PHC) for treatment where from she was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for further treatment. However, she was doctors declared brought dead. 
       Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard, he said adding it was not immediately clear why she took this extreme step.
Meanwhile in Handwara, a girl (name withheld) resident of Magam also consumed some poisonous substance at her home.        
     She was shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard. UNI
