Prisons Department gets its Training Institute

JAMMU, OCTOBER 06: DGP Prisons, S. K. Mishra today inaugurated the Training Institute of Prisons Department.

Senior Superintendents of police Javid Masood Fazili, Dinesh Sharma, Superintendents Harish Kotwal, Lazar Khandaray, A. H. Natnoo, Accounts Officer District Jail Jammu, besides Principal of the Institute S. A. Beig and Assistant Engineer Nana Ji Bhat were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion DGP Prisons Sh. Mishra asked senior officers and staff of Prisons Department to keep this Institute functional which will not only help the staff of Prisons Department but will also help the Inmates and the people in general.

This "Institute of Correctional Services" Mishriwala, near Akhnoor will go a long way in inculcating various essential knowledge and skills which are required for Prison Staff, he added.
