SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04: The court
of Adjudicating Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar) imposed a
fine of Rs 50,000 on a Gujarat based edible oil manufacturing Company for manufacturing/supplying
substandard & Misbranded, “Suman Brand Mustard Oil”.
Meanwhile,
Food Safety Wing of Drugs and Food Control Organization Srinagar has filed
sixteen 16 cases against various Food Business Operators for manufacture/sale
of Food articles in unsanitary conditions
The Chicken sellers/Bakers/Butchers have been directed to maintain high
standards of hygiene otherwise action under relevant provisions of Food Safety
& Standards Act shall be initiated against them.
