UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 03: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, IT,
FCS&CA, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Relief and Rehabilitation ,
Labour and Employment Ajay Nanda today held a public grievances redressal camp
at Chirayi Gagga.
District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar and various district
officers were also present on the occasion.
A large number of people from four panchayats including Sundrani,
Muttal, Dhanoo and Seen Brahmana participated in the camp and raised their
problems and demands like upgradation of High School Chirayi, widening of roads
from Bassa Morh and Gagga to Duddar , construction of new PHC at Chirayi,
repair of road from Dhannu to seen Brahmna, opening of ration depot at Muttal,
Veterinary Centre at Seen Brahmana and Sundrani, electricty to unelectrified villages.
The Minister directed the concerned officers to take up all the issues
raised by the people for an early redressal. He also made the people aware
about various schemes being run by the present Government and urged them to
avail full benefit of the same.
The Minister further directed the district officers to hold such public
grievances camps regularly to take firsthand account of the problems being
faced by the people for early redressal.
Stating that the present Government is fully determined to provide all
the basic facilities to the common masses, Nanda said that holding such camps
in far-flung areas and facilitating healthy interactions between the officers
and the people is a step forward in this direction.
Later, the
Minister inspected the building of High School Chirayi.
Others who attended the camp were S.E, N.D. Khwaja, Chief Planning
Officer Ashok Khajuria, Chief Eduaction Officer Jattu ram Bhardwaj, DFO
Territorial Jugal Kishore, DFO SF Dr. Rajan Singh and Ex-En PDD Rachhpal Chand
and district and block level officers.
