SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 30: To review the progress made under
different state and centrally sponsored schemes implemented in the field of
agriculture and the expenditure of funds on various components of the schemes
like RKVY, PMKSY, MIDH, Director Agriculture Kashmir convened a meeting of
officers at district Shopian here today.
Chief Agriculture Officer gave a detailed Power Point Presentation of
various activities carried out by the department under various schemes under
implementation in the district.
The meeting was informed that 100% disbursement and expenditure of
funds have been achieved under various schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture Kashmir, Syed Altaf
Aijaz Andrabi impressed upon the participants to introduce more transparency
during the expenditure of funds and put all the activities in public domain so
that more accountability and credibility can be achieved.
Highlighting the importance of e-governance, Director Agriculture
impressed upon the concerned officers and field functionaries to perform Adhaar
based survey of various assets established under various central and state
sponsored schemes throughout the district and the job should be completed
within a stipulated time frame. He called upon officers to work with utmost
commitment and dedication for the well being and development of socio-economic
status of farming community of the valley.
