BHADERWAH, OCTOBER 26: On the 4th
Day, the expert team associated with the 7 day training of trainers programme
on disaster preparedness and risk reduction, interacted with the students here
at the Government Higher Secondary School(GHHS) Boys.
Around 50 delegates from Leh, Kargil and different parts of District
Doda interacted with students and staff.
This programme inaugurated on Oct 23 at Ghat Doda by MLC Sham Lal is
being organised by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development Tamil
Nadu in collaboration with Civil Defence, SDRF, Red Cross, Indian Army, Friends
Youth Club Assar, Diamond Youth Club Ghat.
The esource persons include experts from Jammu University (Bhaderwah
Campus), Degree College Bhaderwah and others.
The main aim of this programme is to train the youth
in rescue and relief measures during natural disaster like floods, Fire,
earthquake, accidents etc.
