Oct 27: The one-man commission of inquiry headed by retired Madras High
Court judge Justice A Arumughaswamy, formed to probe the mystery behind the
death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today said his probe would be
transparent. Speaking after formally assuming charge, he said the probe would
be transparent. His assuming charge would be followed by a notification calling
for information on the agenda of the one-man inquiry commission. The Tamil Nadu
government had on September 25 last announced setting up of the commission of
the inquiry commission headed by the retired Justice. Justice Arumughaswamy
would go into the circumstances leading to the hospitalisation and death of Ms
Jayalalithaa on December five last year after 75 days of treatment at the
Apollo Hospital. The Commission would submit its report to the government in
