PM bows to Jayprakash Narayan, remembers Nanaji Deshmukh on birth anniversaries

New Delhi, Oct 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday remembered two legendary freedom fighters -- Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan and Nanaji Deshmukh, on their birth anniversaries. Remembering Jayprakash Narayan, commonly known as JP or Lok Nayak on his 115th birth anniversary, Mr Modi said, 'I bow to the venerable Loknayak JP on his Jayanti. His unflinching courage and righteousness continue to inspire every Indian." In a separate message, the Prime Minister recalled the contribution of social reformer Nanaji Deshmukh, on his birth anniversary. "Remembering Nanaji Deshmukh on his birth anniversary. We are constantly motivated by his noble service and emphasis on rural development," he added. UNI
