Delhi, Oct 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people
on the occasion Bhai Dooj. "I extend good wishes all country men and women
on the solemn occasion of Bhaia Dooj," Mr Modi said in a tweet in Hindi.
'Bhai Dooj' is a popular Hindu festival celebrated in various parts of the
country -- where sisters wish long life, happiness and prosperity for their
brothers. The annual festival comes every year close on the heels of Diwali,
the festival of light. The Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani
also extended her greetings to the people on the occasion. UNI
