Prez pays floral tributes to Sardar Patel

New Delhi, Oct 31: President Ram Nath Kovind paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 142nd birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. The President, officers and staff paid floral tributes in front of a portrait of Sardar Patel in Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Earlier, this morning, the President visited Patel Chowk in New Delhi to pay floral tributes at the statue of the late leader fondly remembered as the Iron Man. He also planted a sapling in the Mughal Gardens, President's Secretariat said in a release. UNI
