Delhi, Oct 20: Delhi government has announced free travel in all DTC buses
for women commuters on Saturday on the occasion of "Bhaiduj".
According to a DTC official, women travellers will be extended the facility of
free travel on October 21 on the festival of 'Bhaiduj' in all air conditioned
and non-AC buses of the Delhi Transport Corporation. The facility will be
available in all the buses of Delhi-NCR from 0800 hrs in the morning till 2200
hrs in night. The corporation also said ," In view of the festive season
and keeping in mind the whooping figure of passengers, more and more transport
inspectors will be deployed in Delhi-NCR to facilitate easy dispensation of
information to commuters.Besides, the corporation will run maximum buses for
convenience of the passengers." UNI
